There is some or the
other latent quality in each one of us. To understand that
latent quality and to focus on that is the talent. One’s own
efforts along with motivation, such as awards, praise etc.
effective in that direction.
The Young Jaina Award
is one such motivation. The main objective of this award is to
inculcate our cultural and moral values along with higher
studies. This award may encourage the young student to strive
for continues development and making their lives better through
social recognition and acceptance of their talent. With the
blessing of Munishri Kshamasarji -true disciple of Acharya Shri
Vidyasagar ji -this Young Jaina Award was first instituted in
the year 2001 at Shivpuri(M.P.) on the auspicious occasion of
the 2600th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir. In the first
ceremony student securing 75% and more marks in Class XII were
felicitated by the Young Jaina Award-2001. Yogendra Jain of
Nagpur (Maharashtra) secured the first position with 93.5%
marks.
In the second function
held at Jaipur, in all 1050 Jain student with 75% and more marks
in class X and class XII were given Young Jaina Award -2002.This
number included 200 such student who could make their selection
in IIT, CPET/PET and CPMT/PMT. Dhiraj Jain of Pondichery with
95.91% marks in all the State Board for XII Class examination
and Darshak Shah, Gujarat with 92.8% marks in XII class
examination of CBSE got the first position. Ujjawal Vijay
Mahatme of Nagpur (Maharashtra) with 96.66% marks in the X class
in all States Boards Aviral Jain of Nagpur (Maharashtra) with
96.4% marks in the X class CBSE examination got the first
Position.The only girl Jain student selected for IIT-JEE,
Priyanka Jain was felicitated for her rare achievement.
In the third ceremony
held at Ramganjmandi (Kota-Raj)in all 1025 student were given
Young Jaina Award-2003. This included 231 students securing 85%
and more marks in class X, 547 students securing 75% and more
marks in class XII and 88 and 132 students as special and
additional awardees respectively. Chinmay Kothari, Jaipur (Raj)
with 96.8% marks in X class secured the first position. Anthima
Kasliwal (Pondichery) with 96.5% marks in XII class Science,
Namrata Nirmal of Banglore with 95.0% marks in XII
class-Commerce, Shashi Jain of Khanapur (Raj.) with 86.0% marks
in class XII-Arts got first position. Pooja Jain Kota (Raj.) was
selected for admission in IIT in the first attempt.
4th Young Jaina Award
ceremony was organized in Ashoknagar (M.P.) in 2004. This Year
Maitree samooh has honored 1427 Jain student from twenty Indian
States and Union Territories Covering 17 educational Boards.
Among 2004 YJA list some awardees are worth a special mention.
Alok Jain topped the overall merit list of Raj. Board with 94%
marks and got selected in IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITS Pilani in very
first attempt. Alok achieved all this without taking any
coaching and without missing in his routine Dev Darshan, Pooja,
and never taking meal after sunset. For XII Science, Sindhu S.
(Chennai) with 97%. In commerce group Neha Jain (Pondycherry)
with 95.92% & in Arts group Taruna Jain (Ganaur) with 88.20%
were received toppers award. T.S. Sowmya (Tunikur) was at number
one position in the Xth class with 95.68%.
In the fifth ceremony
held at Morena, M.P. in all 1447 students was given Young Jaina
Award 2005. This was the highest number in comparison of last
award ceremonies. 14 Boards of 19 states from all over country
were participated in program. This was first time when
convocation ceremony of senior awardees of 2001 & 2002 was
organised. Second topper of Young Jaina Award 2001 Ms. Triloga
Sundari who completed B.E. (Electronics & Tele Communication)
with 85% was one of them who received her award in Convocation
Gown. Handicapped brilliant student Sangeeta Jain, Vidisha was
also specially awarded along with 9 others students from
different fields. Out of 916 students of XII K. Patni (Kuchaman
City, Raj.) 96.45% & Deepika Jain (Hyderabad, A.P.) 96.27% were
highest scorer among overall YJA 2006 list. J. Rajiv Kumar,
Chennai with 95.40% in Boys & Nikita Jain, Jaipur, Raj in Girls
with 95.20% were toppers for Xth class.
For the 6th Young Jaina Award
Maitree samooh has honored 1198 Jain student from twenty one
Indian States and Union Territories Covering 17 educational
Boards. Among 2006 YJA list 671 girls and 527 boys got award.
For XII Science, Rohit Jain. (Agra) with 97.50% among boys &
Megha Jain (Chhatarpur) with 94.88% among girls. in commerce
boys group Saurabh Badjate (Mandsour) with 93.11% and among
girls Megha Jain (Damoh) with 92.88%, & in Arts group Keshu Jain
(Bamanpura) with 88.00% were received toppers award. In 10th
class, Abhinav Jain. (Jaipur) with 98.20% among boys & Ankita
Jain (Delhi) with 96.00% among girls were toppers for Xth class. |
